Andrew Mailhot is Senior Counsel with Saber Law Group. Mr. Mailhot brings over two decades of experience as a skilled litigator and legal educator to the Firm. His practice focuses on representing individual and corporate clients in employment disputes, including both single-plaintiff and class/representative actions. Mr. Mailhot’s extensive litigation background spans federal and state trial and appellate courts, as well as mediation and binding arbitration.

Mr. Mailhot also guides Saber Law Group’s institutional clients on best practices, human resources policies, and employee handbooks, while also advising individuals on employment contracts.

Mr. Mailhot is passionate about mentoring the next generation of lawyers. Before joining Saber Law Group, he served as a Professor at Florida International University (FIU) Law School. Within the Legal Skills and Values program, he instructed first-year students in legal research, professional responsibility, and written and oral advocacy. He continues this mentorship role at Saber Law Group, conducting various trainings and holding “office hours” for associate attorneys at the Firm. Mr. Mailhot also held positions at prominent firms including Jackson Lewis, PC, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges, LLP, and Bingham McCutchen LLP.

Mr. Mailhot earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as an Associate Editor for the Michigan Journal of Law Reform. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Davis.
